[hr4]
In this video, innovative ideas on the future of space travel and aerospace dynamics are the brainchild of Mojave Spaceport’s, Stu Witt; NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center’s David McBride and Rocket Propulsion Lab’s Mike Huggins. The importance of risk as a crucial element in progressing forward is emphasized by the foremost risk-takers in space; rocket science; aerospace and education. The role of STEM education in growing our engineers is championed by AV College Math and Science Dean, Les Uhazy, as well as the space pioneers interviewed for this project.

“The Rewards of Risk” highlights Edwards Air Force Base, the Mojave Air and Space Port, the Air Force Research Laboratory and NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center. This video also explores the importance of the R-2508 Complex, and how this protected airspace supports aerospace testing.

The Rewards of Risk was produced in conjunction with Edwards Community Alliance and East Kern Educational Resource Network. Executive Producers, Bob Johnstone and Bill Deaver, encourage sharing this video to support the aerospace industry as well as inspire students to select technical and scientific areas of study for their career paths to maintain a continuum of engineers in rocket science and the aerospace industry.
